Communications & Multimedia DivisionCommunications and Multimedia is a division of the Mayor's Office responsible for the City's external and internal communications and multimedia services.
The primary mission of the Communications and Multimedia Division is to facilitate communication of the City's message in a unified, professional manner. We provide service to all City departments to help them educate and inform the community in the most effective methods available.
The division is the central point for all information provided to the community concerning all City of Auburn written, printed, audio, video and web publications and productions.
Responsibilities
- Government Access Channel (Comcast channel 21)
- Auburn Community Radio (AM 1700)
- Production of all City publications and printed material
- Mail, postage, shipping
- Print shop and copy services
- Official City Public Information Officer
- Coordinate with other agencies regarding regional and/or national messages, promotion or education
- Photo archives
- Community newsletter
- Employee newsletter
- Media relations
- Coordination of video and photo coverage of City events, activities and meetings
- City participation in community groups and committees
- Coordination of logistics for meetings, public forums, open houses, tours, etc.
- Consistent and professional City message
