Gaines Park is a neighborhood park located in the Vistaria/Sunning Hills residential area. The park has a boardwalk along the wetland area on the east edge of the park and includes a picnic area, play area, and ½ basketball court.

Park History

Dedicated in May, 1999, and named for former Auburn Mayor Robert E. "Bob" Gaines, 1964-1969. This park is a joint project between the Storm Water Division and Parks and Recreation.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From I-5, take Hwy 167 north. Take the 15th St NW Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn west onto 15th Street. Continue on 15th to the light at West Valley Highway, turning left. Continue south on West Valley Highway. Turn right on 11th St NW. Follow 11th St NW to Pike St NW. The park is on the right.
