SE of east main street neighborhood plan

The neighborhood southeast of East Main Street has over thirty homes that have been identified by the Washington State Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation as potentially historic. Most of these historic homes are "craftsman bungalows" built between 1910 and 1930. Current homeowners, and several businesses that have located in the neighborhood, contain to preserve this historic architectural style that remains popular today.

Located east of downtown Auburn, the Southeast of East Main Street Neighborhood extends south of East Main Street to Highway 18 and from A Street S.E. to M Street S.E. It encompasses an area of approximately 143 acres and is home to over 1,200 residents. It is across the street from Auburn High School and Washington Elementary School.

Strolling down any of the streets in this neighborhood makes you realize that Southeast of East Main Street, like the rest of Auburn, is more than you imagined.
