Welcome to the City of Auburn’s Permit Center. We are here to assist our customers through every aspect of the permitting process, from initial questions and pre-application meetings through inspections and final certificate of occupancy. You may also file for a new or renew an existing business license at the Permit Center.

Our mission is to provide expeditious and quality services and a positive customer experience for those seeking development permits from the City of Auburn.

To achieve our mission, we continually strive to:

• Provide prompt, accurate and complete information and support to the homeowner, contractor and developer.
• Ensure that each project is built safely and expediently and meets applicable codes and standards in order to protect and enhance the characteristics of our City.

We are located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall at 25 West Main Street in downtown Auburn. There is plenty of free parking available nearby

Hours:

The Permit Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
