• Beginning January 1, 2007, the City of Auburn now assesses a $3500 Park Impact Fee per residential unit. The fee is due at the time of permit issuance.
• Beginning January 1, 2007, the City of Auburn now charges a $250 application fee for a pre-application meeting. This fee is credited towards any subsequent application made within 6 months of the date of the meeting.
• On January 16, 2007, the City Council adopted a new zone district, the Downtown Urban Center zone (DUC), replacing the existing C2 Central Business District zone. The new district is intended to encourage higher intensity development within the downtown core, including mixed use projects. To view a copy of the new zone, click here (PDF).
