Other Building Agencies and Useful LinksThere are many agencies involved in the development/permitting process. We have attempted to provide information about some of the agencies we frequently refer our customers to in the course of our work. Electrical permits and inspections are handled through the Department of Labor and Industries. Contact them at (206) 835-1111 or www.wa.gov/lni/electrical. If you want to move a mobile or manufactured home into the City of Auburn, you will need to secure a permit from the Building Division in order to install the mobile or manufactured home. Even though a mobile or manufactured home may be located in the City Limits of Auburn, there are other agencies that have jurisdiction over the interior of the structure. If you want to do the following alterations to a manufactured or mobile home please refer to the Labor & Industries web site: www.wa.gov/lni/FAS.
