Pipeline Safety and InformationThere are two major pipelines bisecting the City of Auburn. The Olympic Pipeline is located in the northwest portion of the City and the Northwest Pipeline Corporation (Williams) is located in the southeast portion of the City. If you would like to learn more about the location of these pipelines, please see the attached map. If you are interested in pipeline safety, the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (WUTC) Pipeline Safety program inspects natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines operating in the state of Washington. The program also provides staff and support to the Citizens Committee on Pipeline Safety - a Governor-appointed advisory body that meets regularly to discuss, identify, review, and highlight pipeline safety issues on a state and national level. More information can be found on the WUTC website at http://www.wutc.wa.gov/pipeline. If you are interested in more information on the pipeline operated by the Olympic Pipeline Company, you can visit their website at http://www.olympicpipeline.com. If you are interested more information on the pipeline operated by the Williams Company, you can visit their website at: http://www.williams.com.
