Specialized Recreation Programs are for individuals with special needs - anyone who requires extra assistance or support including but not limited to people with physical or developmental disabilities. People with disabilities are NOT limited to these programs. For more information call Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation at 253-931-3043.

Monday night social programs (Young Generation Club) are designed for adult participants ages 18 and up. Youth/Teen activities are designed for ages 7-18. Individuals must pre-register for all programs through the Auburn Parks Office, 910 Ninth St SE, call 253-931-3043 to register using VISA/ MasterCard or can register online through Auburn @ Play.

Classes and Trips

Classes and trips provide social and recreational activities for individuals with and without disabilities. Everyone is welcome to attend classes and trips. Transportation is provided for trips, unless otherwise noted.

Sports Programs

Sports Programs are offered for youth, teens and adults for all abilities ages 8 and up. Sport options vary each season and are offered during the following time frames:

  • Basketball (November through March)
  • Bowling (offered in Fall)
  • Cycling (offered in Spring)
  • Golf (offered July - August)
  • Powerlifting (offered in Winter/Spring)
  • Rollerskating (offered in Fall/Winter)
  • Soccer (offered in Spring)
  • Softball (offered in Summer)
  • Swimming (offered February - June)
  • Track & Field (offered in the Spring)
  • Volleyball (offered in Fall)
