Adults Sport LeagueThe Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department offers various seasonal sport leagues and sport lesson for adults. Leagues are perfect for a group of friends, neighbors, co-workers, or family members. A summary of each activity is included below. Adult Sports League RosterAdult Summer SportsSoftballAdult regular season softball registration starts in January and continues until mid February, league play starts the 3rd week of April and will continue through mid June with playoffs finishing in late June or early July, depending on weather. Extended season softball registration Starts in May and ends in early June. That season will begin in late July and run through mid-September.

BasketballThe City of Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department offers a variety of adult basketball leagues for a variety of ability levels. In the Spring, Summer and Fall we offer 4-on-4 full court basketball without officials and in the winter we offer 5-on-5 with officials.

Flag FootballSix-a-side teams play on a modified field with an intermediate size football. Teams play eight league games (two games a week) with division leaders advancing to playoffs. Leagues are offered in the spring and fall for ages 18 and over. Spring league registration runs through the first week in February, league play beings the first week of March and continues through through the first week in April. Fall league early registration contiues through the first week in August with league play beginning the second week of September and running through mid-November. Additional tournament options are available in late August and the second week of December. To check out the current season league offerings, visit Auburn @ Play On-line Flag Football Informational Sheet 2007 Grass Stain Tourney Results Coed VolleyballRegistration continues through the first week in February, league play beings the first week of March and continues through through the first week in April. Teams will play eight league games, two games each on Mondays. Division leaders will advance to post-season playoffs. Ages 18 and over. TennisTennis lessons are offered for beginner and intermediate players from June through August. In the event of cancellation due to rain, make-up classes are announced by the instructor. Registrants are required to supply their own tennis racket and one can of tennis balls. Lessons are at the tennis courts at Auburn High School. To check out the current season league offerings, visit Auburn @ Play On-line. GolfBasic golf instruction includes golf rules, etiquette, and physical skills for ages 18 and over. Teams play 10 games, with an official, and compete in a division of similar skill level. There are no playoffs. Registration continues through the second week of September.
