Auburn's Iconic Public Art Project
The City of Auburn is seeking a professional artist (or artist team) to design and fabricate a large-scale outdoor artwork for the street-side section of Auburn’s Les Gove Park, located along Auburn Way South. This prominently featured artwork will welcome visitors to the community park, have a broad community impact, high visibility, and the hope of becoming an iconic symbol for the park and the City. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to work on fast-track projects and within budget. 4Culture will manage the artist invitation call for this public art commission and the City of Auburn will manage the artist selection and implementation.
