High School Student Art Show
Theme: Auburn at Play
 High School Students are invited to showcase their artwork in City Hall Gallery from Friday, December 5, 2014 – January 15, 2015.  Open to High School Students within the Auburn School District, Private School and/or Home School within Auburn City Limits.  Two dimensional artwork (not to exceed 12” x 18” with a wire on the back) will be accepted on Friday, December 5, 3:30 – 5pm at Auburn’s City Hall, 25 W Main.  Please download and fill out the submission form.(pdf)
   

StreetScapes
Auburn's StreetScape Art is a program that seeks to enliven and activate otherwise empty storefront windows in Auburn's Historic Downtown by providing temporary space to artists, creative businesses, organizations and community groups. Applications for Static Installations and Active Enterprise are accepted on a rolling basis and placed as spaces become available.

Artist participation is sought on an ongoing basis and applications are accepted through CaFé an online call-to-artists servicelinks to external site

   
           

Seeking Nominations for 

City of Auburn Poet Laureate 

The City of Auburn Poet Laureate recognizes and honors a citizen poet of exceptional talent and accomplishment. The Poet Laureate also encourages appreciation of poetry and literary life in Auburn. Once a Poet Laureate program is established the Auburn Arts Commission will forward a recommendation to the Mayor for final selection and appointment.

city hall gallery  Opportunities for Visual Artists

The City of Auburn Arts Commission annually offers several opportunities for visual artists to exhibit their works. The Arts Commission begins seeking submissions from 2-dimensional visual artists at the end of summer and in early fall. Other opportunities are posted throughout the year.
