Parade at 4:30 PM
A festive and fun children's parade, which is followed by community caroling and the lighting of the City Hall Christmas Tree.
- Parade line-up begins at 4:00 PM on E Street NE.
- Pre-parade entertainment from 4:00-4:30 PM in front of City Hall.

Doktor Kaboom - The Science of Santa at the Auburn Avenue Theater at 1:00 PM. The good doktor, working from the assumption that science and magic are the same thing, declares Mr. Claus the world's greatest scientist and using basic physics attempts to recreate all of Santa's wonders. Tickets are $8. Call Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation at 253-931-3043, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM or Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, or order on-line for Will-Call only pick-up at Brown Paper Tickets.
Snack and Craft at Washington Elementary, 20 E Street NE. Event will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for families to create fun holiday gingerbread houses and ornaments, a warm way to ring in the holidays and a yummy activity prior to the parade.
Pre-registration is $3-$4 or $5 at the door.
NEW ACTIVITIES offered from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM!! Enjoy family-friendly train rides, hands-on ArtRageous activities, kettle corn and hot chocolate sales, pony rides (for a minimal fee), and more! Strolling entertainment provided by Green River Jazz Voices and a special visit from Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, from 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM Join us!
Leashed, licensed and well-behaved pets welcome at the Santa Parade & Tree Lighting.
