Waste Management Garbage Collection

Set Up

If you have a property or business within the City of Auburn's Waste Management garbage service area, you are required to have City Garbage service. The charges/fees set by the City shall be applied whether or not the service is utilized. All occupied units are required to have minimum service or adequate service.

Garbage Rates

Solid Waste Rates vary depending on container size and pick up frequency. The smaller your container size, the less you pay. Many different container sizes are available for your business needs.

Extra Garbage Pickups and Charges

If the amount of garbage you generate exceeds your current service, consider increasing your service level or consider utilizing the City Recycling Program. Garbage collection in excess of your current monthly service level (as listed on your account) is charged according to the additional amount picked up, (64 gallon through 8-cubic yard containers will be charged according to container size). Extra charges and special pickups are costly... having the correct service level will save you money.
