In addition to the services offered by our Economic Development Team we also have a variety of partner organizations available to help our new or existing businesses including:

City of Auburn, Office of Economic Development

The Office of Economic Development has a variety of resources for business development, expansion and recruitment. Whether you are considering starting your small business and are in need of a Small Business Checklist (PDF) or need to find available commercial property for your new business, we have tools to assist you.  A schedule of Business Assistance Training and Education Programming can be found on IPZAuburn.com and a list of past events that have been taped are available in the video library. If we can’t help you personally, we’ve developed a wide list of partners to aid you to success.

Green River College Small Business Assistance Center

Located in downtown Auburn, Green River College’s Small Business Assistance Center provides technical assistance to small businesses in South King County. The SBDC offers assessment, referral services and business counseling at no charge. Workshops and classes are also available at a low cost to participants. Lending options are available for clients needing capital.

Small Business Administration (SBA)

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is an independent agency of the federal government created to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses.

SCORE

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. Supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of 13,000+ volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost.

Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce is to "represent businesses united to promote a strong economy and a vibrant community".

The Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce thinks globally advocating at the local, state and federal levels for quality growth.

The Chamber is centered on:

Impact Washington Manufacturers

Impact Washington (formerly Washington Manufacturing Services) is a not-for-profit organization with a singular goal: to help make Washington manufacturers more competitive. Through their affiliation with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Impact Washington has the ability to link manufacturers with both local expertise and hard-to-access national resources.
