The BIA Committee of Rate Payers meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2020 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 11, 2020. The meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street in Auburn.Business Improvement Area Committee of Ratepayers - Eleven Members

In 1988, upon the petition of business owners and operators, the City of Auburn established the Business Improvement Area (BIA) to aid development of the Central Business District and facilitate merchant and business cooperation to improve trade. The Business Improvement Area Committee of Ratepayers reviews and evaluates the administration of the BIA by the Auburn Downtown Association. The Committee of Ratepayers is comprised of eleven members who serve one-year to three-year terms and are owners or operators of businesses located within the Business Improvement Area and whose businesses are subject to assessments.
Regular meetings of the BIA Committee are held the second Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM in Auburn City Hall Council Chambers.
