The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA)  for the following described project. The temporary use permit application and associated materials may be obtained on the City’s Public Notice webpage at www.auburnwa.gov/landuse, by contacting the Staff contact listed below, or at the City of Auburn Customer Service Center, 1 E Main St., 2nd Floor, Auburn, WA 98001.

Proposal: Type II Temporary Use Permit for a mobile catering business (“food truck”) within the existing parking lot of ARCO/AMPM Gas Station. Hours of operation are Monday thru Sunday, 8:00 AM to Midnight. 

Location: The project site is located at 2790 Auburn Way S, King County Assessor Parcel No. 202105-9043

Statement of Consistency and List of Applicable Development Regulations:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Auburn City Code, Comprehensive Plan, and Public Works Design and Construction Standards.

The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.

Public Comment Period: All persons may comment on this application. Comments must be in writing and received by the end of the 15-day comment period at 5:00 PM on May 28, 2021 to the mailing address of 25 W Main St., Auburn, WA, 98001-4998 or to the email address below. Any person wishing to become a party of record, shall include in their comments that they wish to receive notice of and participate in any hearings, if relevant, request a copy of decisions once made, and be made aware of appeal rights.
