Get Prepared for Emergencies
Emergencies could happen any time, so it's important to prepare now. In a large-scale disaster, emergency assistance might not be able to reach everyone who needs help for up to two weeks.
The Auburn Office of Emergency Management helps the city prepare for and respond to disasters, but it is the responsibility of everyone to be prepared at home.
The City of Auburn also has many tools to help you when winter weather strikes.
Community members should know the hazards that may impact them, make a plan with their household to deal with those hazards, build an emergency kit (PDF), and learn how to stay informed when disasters happen.
