Description

Global Heat has been called a “A nonstop funk rockin' soul experience!” Their riveting performance "Music Soulstice" traces the roots and development of Soul music in America, from its Golden Age in the 1950s and 1960s, through its evolution into spin-off genres, all the way up to contemporary popular music. Global Heat performs the music of Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown; the Motown sound of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder; through to R&B from Earth Wind and Fire, Bootsy Collins and others; and up to Michael Jackson, Prince, and contemporary artists like Lizzo, Kendrick Lamar and Silk Sonic. This show has got it all!
