NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENTS SOUGHT REGARDING ORDINANCE 6942, A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF AUBURN AND INDUSTRIAL REALTY GROUP
The City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Auburn City Hall Council Chambers, 25 West Main Street, on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 7:00 PM or soon thereafter. The purpose of this public hearing is to solicit public comments on Ordinance 6942 which is a Development Agreement between the City of Auburn and Industrial Reality Group (IRG) that will govern uses, development standards, and phasing plans for the development of the former GSA site located at the Southwest corner of 15th Street SW and C Street SW.
Copies of Ordinance 6942 and the Development Agreement are available, at no charge, from the City of Auburn's Community Development Department located at 25 W. Main Street, Auburn, 98001.
Interested residents may offer oral comments at the Auburn City Council public hearing on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 7:00 PM.
The public can provide comments in-person or submit written comments in advance of the scheduled meeting. Written comments regarding Ordinance 6942 may be submitted via mail, fax, or email.

If an individual requires an accommodation to allow for remote verbal comment because of a difficulty attending a meeting of the board or commission, the City requests notice of the need for accommodation by 3:00 PM on the day of the scheduled meeting. Non-English speaking residents and citizens with speech, sight, or hearing impairments who wish to comment at the public hearing should contact the Auburn Department of Community Development. Each request will be considered individually according to the type of assistance required, the availability of resources, and the financial ability of the City to provide accommodation.
The Auburn City Council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. If Monday is a holiday, the meeting is held on Tuesday instead.
