Claude DaCorsi

ClaudeClaude DaCorsi began his second term on the Auburn City Council in January 2018. He has over 20 years of experience in public works procurement and contract administration. In 2015, he retired as the Director of Capital Construction for the King County Housing Authority. He was the former Director of Construction and Development for the Grant County Housing Authority. He has over 40 years of construction management and executive management experience.

DaCorsi has a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in government from Seattle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management magna cum laude from Northwest University.

DaCorsi is the Past President of the Sons of Italy Nuova Piccola Italia Lodge #1967, a member of the Auburn Sons of Italy Lodge #1955, and a member of the Auburn Noon Lions. He served as a volunteer chaplain for six years at the Walla Walla State Penitentiary. He also served as a District Governor for the California Jaycees and Past President of the Woodland California Jaycees.

DaCorsi is originally from Gloversville, New York and resided in California for 17 years. He relocated to Washington State in 1991 and has been a resident in Auburn for 12 years. He is married to his wife Mary, and has three grown children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

DaCorsi is on the Board of Directors of the Association of Washington Cities (AWC), a member of the AWC Federal Legislative Committee, the King County Regional Transit Committee (RTC), where he serves as the Vice Chair of the RTC and chair of the RTC caucus for the Sound Cities Association. He is also a member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB), AHAB Policy Committee Chair, and the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) Board of Governance.
