Second Saturdays are starting in Auburn for the summer! The City of Auburn is hosting free creative workshops and activities for all ages the second Saturday of each month at Auburn's new Postmark Center for the Arts on Auburn Avenue. Activities will start at 2:00PM, with occasional guest artists and performances. See below for our lineup of creativity salons for 2024!

PostMarked

Postmark Center for the Arts will host a special closing reception or Postmarked: Connecting Communities, a collaborative mail-art installation using hundreds of postcards created by our community members. Come by for this closing reception for your last chance to make a card, contribute to the exhibition, and mingle with your creative neighbors!

Rhythm and Rhymes Story Hour

R RJoin Auburn Symphony Orchestra and the Auburn Public Library for Rhythm and Rhymes Story Hour! Enjoy a fun, interactive music presentation with ASO musicians followed by a story read-aloud with an Auburn librarian. This FREE program is best for ages 3-8 but families of all ages are encouraged to attend. Take home a craft kit to continue the fun at home!

Ted Vigil Performance 2:00-2:45PM: Step into the holidays with Ted Vigil! Vigil is a singer, songwriter and a tribute artist. He was born in Seattle and raised in the Olympia area. He has been performing from the age of ten throughout school in concert, symphonic and jazz bands developing his talents as a drummer and singer. Listen to his unique line up of holiday and winter classics!
