Make the summer unforgettable!  Gain leadership training and support to gain skills for the future!  Volunteer with kids and gain valuable experience!  Applications due by 4/28.  Application and interview is required.  6 positions available.

*Transportation is not available during Spring Break.

Transportation Provided!

Bus transportation is provided from all Auburn School District Middle and High Schools.  A Transportation Permission Slip (PDF) is required before riding the bus.  Print it out or pick one up at the Auburn Community & Event Center, or at the REC.  Return it to the REC before you ride the bus.

Teen Programs & Classes

Girls on the Run- 6th-8th Grade Girls

Girls on the Run is for Every Girl!  Participating in Girls on the Run transforms girls' lives, by helping them increase their self-confidence, develop healthy relationships and feel good about themselves, inside and out.  Transportation is provided from Auburn Middle Schools by ASD to the REC.  Register online through Girls on the Run Puget Sound.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00-4:30 PM | March 14-May 21. 
No practice Spring Break.

Can you Smell what the REC is Cooking?! 

This 4-week series brings teen chefs together to wash, chop, mix and cook their way to healthy and delicious meals! 

Teens will learn all the necessary skills to make nutritious food choices and most importantly, that healthy food tastes good!  Get ready to take your taste buds on a whole new adventure! 
Dinner is provided.  
April 6-27, 6:00-8:00 PM

VR PhotoVR at the REC

Get your friends together and head to the REC Teen Center to play Virtual Reality Games in the Game Lounge! 
Every Friday in May, 5:30-7:30 PM, $10
rec riders

REC Riders

Check in at the REC for program schedule.  REC Riders teaches teens Mountain Biking Skills, ride leadership and outdoor opportunities.  Bikes and equipment are provided. Fridays, 3:00 -4:30 PM.

Auburn Youth Council

Grades 6-12 | Free! Service Learning & Leadership Development group gets teens active in the Auburn Community!  Meetings are held at the REC- 3:30-4:30 PM the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.  Come check it out and get signed up.
