The City of Auburn is issuing a Notice of Application (NOA) for the following described project. The permit applications and listed studies may be reviewed at the Auburn Department of Community Development at One E Main St., 2nd Floor, Customer Service Center, Auburn, WA 98001 and by visiting www.auburnwa.gov/landuse.
Proposal: Construction of 1,995 square foot shop/garage building in the R-2 Residential Low Zone and Lea Hill Overlay. The current height for accessory structures in the Lea Hill Overlay R-2 is 16 feet. The Administrative Variance to building height will increase the accessory structure’s (shop/garage) height by approximately 45.6% of the quantifiable standard (from 16 feet to 23.3 feet).
Location: The site is located north of the intersection of 105th Ave. NW and 281st St. SE, addressed as 28008 105th Ave. SE, King Co. Parcel No. 3222059117.
