Resources for Service Providers
The City of Auburn allocates almost 1% of the City’s General Fund expenditures in addition to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to support local human services programs.

The City of Auburn Community Services Division is a member of the Human Service Funders Collaborative with 16 other King County cities, including Bellevue, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Federal Way, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kent, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton, Sammamish, SeaTac, Shoreline, and Tukwila. The application for the current 2021-2022 funding cycle is now closed. The funding cycle for 2023-2024 will begin in Spring 2022.

Applications are submitted through Share1 and reviewed through a competitive process to award funding grant to non-profit agencies serving Auburn residents. Completed applications must fall within one of the five designated priority areas: Homelessness Interventions, Basic Needs, Housing Related Supportive Services, Job Training and Education, and Housing and Associated Services. Additional information on these priority areas can be found in the Community Needs Assessment (PDF).
