Bus transportation is provided from all Auburn School District Middle Schools.
A permission slip is required before riding the bus. Please fill out one of the two versions below or pick one up at the Auburn Community & Event Center, or at The REC. Please give this form to your bus driver on your first ride to The REC.

Hey Auburn Teens!
Join us for Late Nights at the Rec on select Fridays each month, starting September 18, 2026!
Each event features something different, including games, activities, music, great food, and a chance to hang out with friends.
Who Can Attend?
- Students in Grades 6–12
- Must attend school in the Auburn or Dieringer School District, and/or live within the City of Auburn
Time: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
Cost: Included with a Rec Membership or just $2 at the door

Hey Teens! Join us for our FREE Summer Open Gym this July through August. Come hang out every Monday to play 4-on-4 basketball, jump into futsal games, stay active, and have fun with friends all summer long!

Fright Fest @ Wild Waves - Ages 13-17
Teen Rec Studios: STEAM Teens - Ages 11-15
Join us for a four week, hands on adventure where creativity meets engineering! Teens will dive into laser cutting, build working robots from everyday materials, design a room spanning life sized marble run, and take on inventive LEGO engineering challenges that push the law of physics. Every session blends experimentation, collaboration, and real world STEAM skills all in one dynamic studio experience. Free transportation is provided from Auburn middle schools to the Rec Center and back to the schools. Parents also have the option to pick up at the Rec as late as 5:00 PM.

Teen Holiday Night - Ages 12-16
Grab your crew and get into the holiday spirit! Decorate your own gingerbread house, sip on hot chocolate, and hang out for a cozy movie night. It's the perfect way to kick off December with your people.

No school. No boredom. Just pure fun. Winter Break Camp brings a variety of epic activities and unforgettable adventures, and with flexible daily registration, you can join us for the days that fit your schedule.
