Our Mission: The Auburn Farmers Market provides a convenient venue for local farmers and artisans to provide access to healthy, fresh, locally sourced food and products to area residents. The Market is a vibrant gathering place where visitors can learn about healthy food choices, and overall health and well-being.
Auburn parks are smoke-free. This includes Les Gove Park where the Farmers Market is held. If the product emits smoke, or vapor, or contains tobacco, it is prohibited in Auburn Parks per Auburn City Code Chapter 2.22 (PDF).

Food Assistance Programs at the Market
Auburn Farmers Market Currency Guide (PDF)
The Auburn Farmers Market participates in the EBT, SNAP Market Match, SFMNP, and WIC programs. The Market has the ability to accept those currencies with approved vendors.
The Market is not able to sign people up for any food assistance programs.

SFMNP and WIC
Many farmers accept SFMNP and WIC benefits at the Market. Both programs require you to have a QR code with your card and your pin number.
SFMNP applications opened in late April, 2025.
EBT and SNAP Market Match
The Auburn Farmers Market only accepts EBT Food Stamps. We are unable to accept EBT Cash.
How to use your EBT food stamps card at the Market:
- Go to the EBT booth
- Swipe your EBT card and redeem your desired amount of EBT dollars in wooden tokens
- Tokens can be spent on EBT eligible products just like you would at the grocery store.
- Eligible products include fruits, vegetables, coffee beans, cheese, meat, honey, and baked goods
- Tokens are matched with SNAP Market Match,
- Match up to $25 per card, per day
- Match can ONLY be spent on fruits and veggies
- Shop for eligible products.
At-Home Activities for Kids
The Auburn Farmers Market will give away 100 Kid Kits at the information booth in June, July, August, and September 2026. These at-home activities can be fun for kids of all ages.
Kid Kit giveaway dates in 2026 are on the third Sunday of each month. June 21, July 19, August 16, and September 20.
