Artist Resource Fair 1:1 graphicJoin us for an Artist Resource Fair in partnership with the City of Auburn! This free event is designed to connect South King County artists with local organizations, funding opportunities, and resources for their creative practice. Attendees will have the chance to learn about opportunities from 4Culture, the City of Auburn, Artist Trust, and Shunpike. This event is open to artists of all disciplines and career stages. This event is presented in partnership with the City of Auburn and with support from Artists Up in partnership with City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture and 4Culture.

Adult PotterySink your hands into clay and experience the magic. You’ll start by crafting functional pieces like cups, bowls, and plates, while also learning essential shaping and glazing techniques. As you progress, participants can take on more complex projects and personal styles, with guidance from the instructor. Join our vibrant community of pottery enthusiasts and discover the joy of creating beautiful, handmade pottery!

Pompom craftGet your craft on at Postmark Center for the Arts prior to Auburn’s Santa Parade & Tree Lighting festivities!

Alongside all the fun happening downtown on Saturday, December 7, Postmark will be offering three different holiday arts crafts accompanied by warm cocoa and delicious cookies. Register to drop in any time between 12:30-3pm to make and take your crafts.

Each individual must register to craft and have a cookie and cocoa.

Cookie decoratingHave you ever wondered how bakers create showstopping cookie designs? Join Postmark Center for the Arts for an evening with Tara Trujillo and learn how to flood, pipe and decorate sugar cookies! Each student will leave with basic knowledge of how to create cookie masterpieces using Royal Icing. Participants will get dozen cookies, 3 icing colors and assorted sprinkles.

December Second SaturdaysVisit Postmark Center for the Arts gallery, open to the public each Second Saturday from 12-4PM! Each month features FREE, all ages performances, crafts, and events!
Marbled Ube Cookies is BACK!
Each individual must register for this FREE activity to participate. Limited spots available!
Register for Session 1 (12 - 1:15PM)
This month, learn to bake marbled ube cookies with Clarissa Grace Gines on Saturday, December 13th! This will be a participatory, hands-on workshop where participants will have the opportunity to follow along and make their own batch of cookies!
During the demo, you will also learn about the history of ube, a vibrantly purple Filipino tuber that has gained popularity in recent years.
You will leave the demo with freshly baked cookies and the cookie recipe for you to recreate at home!
About: Clarissa Grace Gines (she/her) is a Filipina-American cultural worker and arts administrator whose multi-layered identities as a child of immigrants, first-generation college graduate, mother, storyteller, and arts advocate inform her work in, and with community. In her free time, she can be found in nature looking at flowers, in a museum looking at art, or in her kitchen whipping up baked goods.
