What Should I Send Each Day With My Camper / What Should They Wear?
- Please send your camper multiple snacks, a sack lunch, a reusable water bottle, and sunscreen, daily. The Auburn School District will be on-site from June 24-August 28 at 11:45 AM, offering free lunches to any campers who would like to participate. *For bike and climbing camps equipment will be provided. Closed toe shoes are required each day for participation.
- Send your camper with a swimsuit and towel each day. We will have water play activities, weather permitting.
- Send your camper in or with closed toed athletic shoes every day, as participation in certain activities may be restricted without them.
What Should I Make Sure My Camper DOES NOT Bring To Camp?
- Do not allow your camper to bring toys and/or valuables (electronics included) unless a special accommodation has been made with the camp supervisor. Our facility and staff will not be held responsible for items that are lost, broken, or stolen.
- Toy weapons, knives, and guns are not permitted.
- Do not send money with youth campers. There are no off-site field trips where they may need it.
What Happens When A Child Gets Injured At Camp?
- Our staff will treat all minor injuries (scraps, bumps, bruises) with Band-Aids/Ice, and guardians will be notified at pickup with an “Incident Report” slip and verbal confirmation.
- If camp staff determine that a camper should seek further medical
treatment, a parent / guardian will be notified immediately.
All head “bump and bonks” will warrant a call to the parent/guardian so that the parent/guardian can determine if their camper should remain at camp.
