Most outdoor RESTROOMS are OPEN. Park users are still encouraged to GO before you GO to a park.

Guidelines for use of AUBURN PARKS AND TRAILS. Park users are encouraged to follow these recommendations to recreate responsibly:

  • DO NOT visit public spaces if you have symptoms or are not feeling well.
  • Know before you go – Check the status of the place you want to visit.
If it is closed, don’t go. If it’s crowded, have a Plan B.
  • Practice physical distancing – Adventure in groups of 10 or fewer outside the household. Be prepared to cover your nose and mouth and give others space.
  • Stay close to home – This is not the time to travel long distances to recreate. Many places are only open for day use and restrooms may still be closed.
  • Play it safe – Slow down and choose lower-risk activities to reduce your risk of injury. Search and rescue operations and health care resources are both strained.
  • Leave no trace Respect parks, trails and communities and take all garbage with you, including disposable face masks and gloves.
